Foundation training
We are proud to be a Foundation Training Practice for the Yorkshire Deanery, meaning we have recent dental graduates work with us for a period to further enhance their dental career. They are fully qualified dentists following on from graduation.
From September 2025 until August 2027 our foundation dentists will be Ms Zaynab Awad, who is a graduate of Newcastle University, and Miss Niamh Dillon, who is a graduate of Leeds University.
Our foundation dentist works in our upstairs surgery and their year with us begins each September. We go through a rigorous assessment and revalidation process to retain this status. We are delighted to have had this honour since 2013 and look forward to continuing in this role.
